Morgan starred alongside other actors in the documentary film Safe Sex for Men and Women focused on AIDS prevention and awareness. Some of the proceeds were donated to American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan spearheaded other fund raising initiatives and gave a testimony to a special Congressional panel about AIDS awareness. Morgan is on the Board of Governors of APLA and Amfar. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon-general of Canada has requested her to take over his duties in a few occasions at AIDS related occasions. She also hosted an AIDS Awareness Special together with Steve Bell. She has appeared twice on Nightline with Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan has received an Emmy nomination for her extra episode in Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. The spring season saw Morgan co-starring with Joan Rivers as Your Money or Your Wife on ABC TV. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. The show included Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. In her next role, Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady together with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also been featured in a psycho thriller made by USA Network. The film garnered one of its greatest ratings of all time.
